There are some great ideas in this app. If you schedule people as part of your job you owe it to yourself to check this out. The way this software handles sick calls could be a game changer.
Keeps getting better with every update. The best time and attendance app... Period!!!
This is the best business scheduling & employee schedule app. Period. As an employee, I always know when I work. Work schedules syncs to my calendar so I never miss a shift. And I can even use my iPhone as a work time clock! Latest update rocks as always.
Ive used Deputy on and off for a couple of years and Im back to stay. This is the best timekeeping and scheduling app on the market. User friendly, accurate and just a great tool to use overall. Thanks for an app that exceeds expectations and makes accounting and payroll a breeze.

Some bad moments

The app looks promising, I like the design but it seems to be a beta version 0.0.0.1... There is a bug when you add a person to the team. I cant see how to remove someone of the team and that is the basic stuff. Keep goung because this apps seams to fit our needs!
When dialing in the unavailability hours, it is always wonky. If you try to set the start time, it changes the end time instead. Then you have to reset the end time, then go back to the start time and it will work. Annoying when putting in multiple days and dangerous if you dont notice the bug. I also have to log out then log back in every month or so because I get an error message and cant see my schedule until I log out and back in. If this gets fixed, Id give the app five stars.
The updated ios app is much improved and allows us the ability to work on the go One problem: Tasks feature is crashing and goes to a black screen after assigning a task
The folks at Deputy are constantly making significant improvements to their app. The software is a life saver, and the app is awesome. Now if they would just allow me to assign different pay rates to different days, Id be in heaven. Get the software! Get the app!
I love this app! Now the only reason I didnt give it 5 is because of the following things that are needed. As the owner of the company and not necessarily the manager of the team, I need to be able too see a calendar view of the store schedule for the week vs just clicking on each persons name. There should also be a text or email alert to the manager when each person clocks in or out for their shift and when either their lunch or shift is exceeded. Currently I have someone that is clocked in for 172 hours since they clocked in at home "accidentally". It would have been great to have gotten a notification alert that I had someone still on the clock for 2 days past their shift. It would also be nice to see read receipts on the news feed messages or that they have viewed their schedule. Now a suggestion to make this software even sweeter that I would even pay a minimal fee for is the following: currently we add goals for the day which is great, there should be a way the employee have to log how much of the actual goal they made so we can view the goal vs actual against wages paid to them. Thank you Deputy for an awesome software.
Needs to support landscape orientation. Needs to have a better visual GUI for scheduling shifts. The current way is not very visual and not very convenient for getting the scheduling done while looking at the weeks schedule.
